What's this all about?
Introducing Tender Tails, Volume 2! Featuring portraits with stories and thank yous, it's a heart-warming exploration of the unbreakable bond of love you have with your pet.
Each accepted applicant receives a custom portrait experience at our Strauss Peyton portrait studio, located in Overland Park, for up to 4 people and 2 pets for their $185 application fee, plus, as a thank you, $100 comes back to you as product credit!
After your portrait experience, you'll have the opportunity to select your favorite portrait that will be used in our upcoming Tender Tails, Volume 2, with your story or thank you letter to your pet as well as create custom portrait art for your home.
And the opportunity to pre-purchase a copy of Tender Tails, Volume 2 with an invite to the release party!
100% of the $185 application fee goes to Great Plains SPCA and with your help, we are going to raise $10,000 for them!
Art That Captures Love
The Details:
If you are selected for one of the 50 spreads in our fundraising book, Tender Tails, Volume 2, there is an application fee of $185. All of this goes towards Great Plains SPCA. Our goal is to donate $10,000! As a thank you, you will receive a $100 product credit to apply towards anything you fall in love with!
The $185 application fee includes:
- A custom weekday studio portrait session for up to 4 people (in a family group) and up to 2 pets in our Overland Park portrait studio.
- A double page spread in our book, Tender Tails, Volume 2 featuring your story or thank you to your pet.
- The opportunity to select your favorite portrait to include in the book.
- The opportunity to create custom portrait art for your home, plus a $100 product credit to use!
- The opportunity to pre-order your own volume of Tender Tails, Volume 2.
- An invite to the Release Party!
The application fee does not include any custom portrait art or copies of the book. Both are available to you separately.

Fill out the form to apply. What gifts has your pet given you? What makes them special and what impact have they had on your life?
Step 2
If you are selected, we will reach out to answer any questions and learn more about your relationship with your pet and what it is you love most about them.
Step 3
Applicants selected for the book will pay their $185 application fee to participate in the book and schedule their weekday portrait session at our portrait studio in Overland Park.
Step 4
Enjoy the most fun-filled portrait experience with your fur baby! Immediately following, you'll see your portraits, select your favorite for the book and have the opportunity to create art for your home.
Dogs teach us a lot of things but none more important than to love unconditionally.
